2) Qutub Minar

History: Qutub Minar is India's tallest tower. It is 73 meters tall. With 379 spiral staircases, It has a base diameter of 14.3 meters and as tower tapers its peak point reduces to 2.7 meters. It is also known as Victory Tower.

History: The caves of Ajanta and Ellora, located in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra, are located at a distance of 100 km from each other, but due to their aesthetics and importance, these two names are always taken together.
There are 2 types of caves - Viharas and Chaitya. Viharas, Buddhist monasteries that were used for living and prayer, Chaitya caves were used for prayer.

History: The Virupaksha Temple was built by Lokamahadevi, the queen of Vikramaditya second. This temple was built by Rani Lokamadevi to get King Vikramaditya to conquer the Pallava king of Kanchipuram. This temple, with nine levels and 50 meters high gopuram(a large pyramidal tower over the entrance gate to a temple precinct), is located on the southern bank of the Tungabhadra River.
